Come Celebrate Our New Third Street South District Store's Grand Opening!

We are so honored that Joseph Wendt Custom Clothiers has been Naples’ premier destination for bespoke menswear, handmade custom shoes, luxury sportswear, gifts and accessories and fine Italian wines since 1994. We're excited to invite press and the public to our grand opening event, celebrating a the flagship store on Broad in the historic Third Street South District.

While the new store is open for business as of release (9a-5p M-F, 7p-10p Thu-Sat in season), the grand opening event will take place the evening of Thursday, November 7th at 6pm. Sample selections from Il Vino Sarto, Wendt’s curation of fine Italian wines, while browsing ready-to-wear sportswear and accessories alongside handmade custom shoes and hand-tailored bespoke menswear in the finest Italian fabrics. Enjoy a lively, social atmosphere with music and light bites as you raise a glass to Naples’ best-dressed.

The Friday and Saturday following the grand opening (November 8th and 9th) will be dedicated in-store trunk shows for event attendees ready to explore custom clothing options further or get fitted for outfits.

Wendt’s styling and impeccable tailoring can be seen on celebrities, top businessmen, professional athletes and coaches. Alabama head coach Nick Saban, Atlanta Falcons quarterback and team captain Matt Ryan and many more NFL coaches and owners often step out in Wendt’s bespoke menswear. One of Wendt’s clients, attorney Chris Cassar, can even be seen looking dapper in a tuxedo on a luxury yacht voyage on a recent episode of Bravo’s Below Deck Mediterranean.

“Primarily, we wanted to create an exceptional buying experience for our customers,” says Wendt of his new store. This new location is a true retail destination that can give customers unparalleled personal service and a unique product, all while surrounded by Naples’ finest galleries, shopping and lively Third Street South dining scene.

For Wendt’s clients, the experience is just as custom as the clothes themselves. To see more of Wendt’s work on display locally, stop by Grey Oaks Country Club on Monday, October 21st for the first annual Purple Jacket Classic Golf Tournament in support of The Shelter for Abused Women & Children. Wendt has worked with top members of the organization to design a custom showpiece purple jacket for the event, a symbol of the organization and its efforts to put an end to domestic violence and human trafficking.
